LITTLE ROADWAY FARM FAQS & SITE RULES
We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly , family-run farm campsite.
How far away is Little Roadway Farm from Woolacombe Beach and the village?
We are just three-quarters of a mile from Woolacombe Bay beach and village, which you can walk to via the footpath on either side of the direct road or a direct route straight down the road. It takes about 20 minutes to walk down and about 30 minutes to walk back up. Please note it isn’t a flat walk, and the footpaths do have livestock on them and aren’t suitable for pushchairs.
Can I book just one night, or do I have to book from Saturday to Saturday?
You can book any night/s that you require at any time, it does not have to be from Saturday to Saturday; the only exception is the pods, the static caravan and the cottage, which have a minimum of 2 nights per booking.
Do you offer refunds?
If you have any problems, please contact us anytime and we will try and accommodate you, to qualify for a refund you must have cancelled your booking 42 days prior to your arrival date; and you will receive a full refund minus 20% booking fee, any cancellation after this period will be entitled to a credit voucher.
What time can I arrive?
Bookings for non-electric and electric pitches are welcome to arrive anytime between 12 pm and ideally 7 pm, we do however understand that people do get caught in traffic or want to arrive after work, so if you are arriving after 7pm please do let us know. Glamping pods static caravan will be available from 3 pm. All pitches are to be vacated by 11 am (glamping 10 am) on the departure date. If you would like to re-book, please do so by 9 am at reception. All arrivals must be on site by 7 pm because that is when reception closes, we do have barriers on site that close at 10.30 pm and re-open at 7.30 am, this is to minimise the amount of vehicle movement and noise onsite.
How big are the pitches?
Electric hook-up pitches are approximately 30 feet by any length that you require. Non-electric pitches are the size of your tent, caravan, motorhome or campervan and yes, you can park next to your tent.
What are the pitches like onsite?
We are proud of the standard of our pitches. We keep the grounds well cut and maintained. Wet weather can occasionally make the ground soft, which is out of our control. We are very proud of our location surrounded by stunning countryside views.
Are all facilities open throughout the season?
Toilet and wash facilities are open all season. Shop is open 7 days a week, but the hours are reduced through low season.
Do you allow dogs on site?
Yes, we do, all dogs must be kept on leads, you are responsible for your animals and please remember to pick up after them. We do not allow dogs in all of our glamping accommodation. We do allow other pets on site, such as birds and cats, as they are kept in your own enclosure.
Do you take groups?
We welcome family groups (parents with children from 0-15) we do not take large adult groups, only 4 adults in an adult-only group, and no under-18s without a parent or guardian. If we see groups forming, we have the right to refuse entry or not issue keys on arrival and you will be asked to leave with immediate effect without refund.
Can I pitch the tent with my friends?
We will do our best to get you pitched with your friends and family. This is easier if you both have the same choice of pitch, for example, if you all book electric hook, or you all book non-electric, but we cannot guarantee it.
What are the site rules?
This is a gentle reminder of the camping rules to make sure everyone staying on-site has a pleasant and memorable stay with us.
